Moeller ZB32-0.16 thermal overload relay with adjustments from 0.10 to 0.16 AMPS and mounts directly to any DILM17, DILM25 or DILM32 3 pole Moeller contactor.  These single phase sensitive overloads are rated for Class 10 tripping, which means they will trip in 10 seconds or less in over current condition and also have the option for manual or automatic reset.  A set of auxiliary contacts come standard on the ZB32-0.16, one normally open and one normally closed, and screw terminals provide for easy installation and removal for replacement.

Modern motors are built with less metal, which means they dissipate less heat. This calls for the modern protection offered by IEC-style Class 10 overload relays...they trip in 10 seconds under locked rotor conditions. Most motor manufacturers today recommend this type of “close” protection.  All Moeller series ZB32 overload relays come with a host of standard features including phase-failure sensitivity, temperature compensation, test / reset buttons and a tripfree release. The auxiliary contacts of the relay disconnect the motor contactor and signal a fault. Moeller series relays can also be used for protecting EExe hazardous location motors.
