Siemens offers a line of 1-, 2- and 4-pole auxiliary contacts that come in all variations for your electrical wiring needs. The 3RH1921 series is offered in top-mounted and side-mounted versions and can add up to 4 additional contacts to your Sirius 3-pole IEC rated contactor. Installation is easy as you simply slide and snap the auxiliary to the front of the contactor and each contact is actuated when power is brought to the coil.

One 4-pole or up to four singlepole auxiliary switch blocks (with screw or Cage Clamp connections) can be snapped onto the front of the contactors. When the contactors are energized, the NC contacts open before the NO contacts close. The auxiliary switch blocks designed for mounting onto the front can be disassembled with the aid of a centrally positioned release lever; the laterally mountable auxiliary switch blocks can be removed easily by pressing on the fluted grips.
Technical Specifications
  • The laterally mountable auxiliary switch blocks to EN 50 012 can only be used if no 4-pole auxiliary switch blocks are snapped onto the front.
  • If single-pole auxiliary switch blocks are used in addition, the location digits on the contactor must be noted.
  • Up to four auxiliary contacts can be mounted, whereby any design of the auxiliary switch blocks is permitted. If two 2- pole, laterally mounted, auxiliary
  • switch blocks are used, one must be mounted on the left and one on the right for the sake of symmetry.
